RIGHT OF ADOPTED CHILD TO INHERITANCE

We are a group of final year LLB students from the School of Law, Universiti Utara Malaysia who are currently undertaking eSULAM project, a service-learning project incorporating three courses, including Law of Succession and Probate, Jurisprudence and Alternative Disputes Resolution.

 

The primary objective of e-SULAM is to spread information by raising public consciousness on issues related to the law of succession and probate. Our topic focuses on the right of adopted children to inheritance under both civil and Islamic Law.

 

This project consists of five stages: investigation, preparation, action, reflection and demonstration. This e-portfolio comprises all of our works during this e-SULAM project.
